A busy, very busy, Milano Fashion Week has been unfolding right before our eyes. Not only because the third stop of fashion month is taking place at the same time as the Sanremo Music Festival, but mostly because Milan finally feels exciting again. Three major creative debuts marked the week, from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s homecoming at Fendi to Meryll Rogge stepping up at Marni, and Demna’s first official show for Gucci.

But the calendar is so much more than debuts, because, for once, this truly feels like an attention-worthy fashion week - between Jil Sander’s incredible sexiness, the anticipation for Trotter’s sophomore collection at Bottega Veneta, and Vivetta Ponti’s newest brand, Venerdì Pomeriggio. What can we say? MFW is so back.
